Count the places where people can sit and work, not the maximum number of bodies that fit in the room. Keep a clear path for coats, the bathroom and anyone who needs extra space. Tell guests whether you are offering a meal, a snack or simply a drink. This tool does not calculate a menu or promise that a room meets everybody’s access needs; ask privately and make the plan smaller when needed.
An existing cloth, a handwritten welcome sign or a bowl of ribbon scraps can give the gathering a recognizable mood. Nobody needs a new decoration collection. Keep food and hot drinks on a separate stable surface, away from paper and tools. A guest who would rather chat than wrap is still welcome. You are hosting friends, not a production line.
Pick the 30-minute version for a short catch-up or let the 90-minute version breathe. Timers never advance the activity or make a sound. The host can pause, skip the prompt and help with a label instead. Stop while everyone can still sort their own belongings, then keep one private line about the evening. A good tradition is something you would actually want to do again.
Build a plan, then save, copy or print it. Nothing is sent to guests automatically.
